City of Darwin.
Espec PH provides preventive and emergency maintenance of electrical services to the City of Darwin, including street lighting, public area lighting, and CCTV. This includes a 24-hour emergency response service to the City of Darwin.
Work is conducted at council facilities within the Darwin region, including council buildings, operations centres, car parks, public parks, reserves and ovals, George Brown Botanic Gardens, childcare, and community centres and swimming pools. Espec PH abides with the rules and requirements of each individual site.
- Supply, installation and maintenance of electrical services to council buildings, facilities and other assets
- Maintenance of existing electrical infrastructure
- Replacement of defective lighting, including supply and installation of new LED equipment
- Replacement of underground-fed lights and repair of light heads
Work is scheduled depending on urgency and accessibility to individual sites. A traffic management plan is prepared for work being conducted close to public access roads. The contract manager approves both work schedules and traffic management plans, when required, prior to work commencing.
Simpro is used to record and track new equipment and infrastructure so that the City of Darwin can manage asset inventory for the lifespan of the equipment. The user scans the barcode assigned to each fitting and records the information of the asset. New barcodes can also be created and assigned to existing assets.
